After 6 weeks of rigorous imprisonment, Martinique’s prefect announced a waiver this Thursday, September 16, 2021. The 10km rule will apply from September 20, and restaurants will be able to reopen their doors from September 22 with mandatory health passes.

Restrictions on leaving home were relaxed. The 10km rule applies to land and sea, and beaches are open to the public.

The curfew will continue until 7 p.m.

Take out and delivery will be limited to 10 location arrangements.

Public institutions will reopen with masks, restaurants and sports halls from September 22 under the Compulsory Health Pass Act.

On Monday, October 11, 2021, companies (health care institutions, STIS, etc.) are required to set up a health pass after a community conversation. The restrictions will take effect on October 11, 2021.

Caregivers will be checked in from Monday, October 11th.

At CHUM and St. Paul Clinic, 183 patients are still hospitalized.

The director of the ARS (Regional Health Agency) said the vaccination rate was not strong enough.

Vaccination liability will be matched to the epidemic indicators according to a provisional schedule, which will be announced soon. This first phase will be implemented in October.
