Kevin O’Brien and George Dockler led Ireland to a seven-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in Dublin.

After seeing a dramatic end in the T20 series opener, it was another end when Zimbabwe’s 152 were bowled out with nine balls to spare.

O’Brien was the top scorer with 60 off 41 balls, with Docral (33 *) scoring three boundaries in a row to seal the victory.

The third International T20 will be held on Wednesday, September 1.

Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to field.

Getkate and Marumani were exhausted before Zimbabwe beat Diane Myers 41-3.

Zimbabwe were in trouble when Craig Erwin (15) and Regis Chakabwa (10) were dismissed for 64.

However, unbeaten 88 points for Milton Schumba (46 *) and Ryan Berlin (37 *) helped the tourists to 152-5 in 20 overs.

Ireland started in favor when Paul Stirling (37) and O’Brien added 59 runs for the first wicket.

O’Brien beat captain Andy Balbirnie by five runs and was caught to leave Ireland 129-3 with four overs to spare.

He looked for a close finish when the hosts needed 12 off 12 balls, but secured victory with three consecutive doctrinal fours and nine reservations.
