Bro asks the British Indies for ideas from Paramount +

ViacomCBS Networks UK Content Director Ben Fro revealed that the company will be ordering local content for the new Paramount + SOOD service, which will be launched in the UK in 2022.

Speaking at the Edinburgh Television Festival, Pramount +’s plans to showcase original documentaries and premium drama content from the UK, as well as a catalog of blockbuster shows and movies from brands and studios. ViacomCBS.

Daniel Pearl, who oversees the screenplay-free originals of Paramount + and Channel 5, welcomed the opportunity to develop premium shows for global audiences and asked freelancers to come up with a broader idea that includes anthologies, documentaries, box sets and more. .

In August, ViacomCBS announced plans to deploy Paramount + to major European markets, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
