Chinese phone giant Vivo has also started phone production in Turkey

After Samsung, Oppo, Xiaomi and Techno, Chinese Vivo also started phone production in Turkey. The company, which produces 20,000 square meters in the Gebse Goseller Organized Industrial Zone, will have a maximum annual capacity of 5 million units.

Ted Dai, General Manager, Vivo Turkey, said: “Through our factory investment, we plan to employ more than 2,000 people locally, including white and blue collars.

Explaining that they are currently the first in China and the third largest smartphone maker in India and Indonesia, Ted Dai provided the following information:

“We are the fifth largest country in the world with over 400 million users. Investing in Turkey is not a coincidence. We have done research to meet the needs of our potential customers.

“We will decide whether to export or not.”

Ted Dai also noted that they have 7 global production bases worldwide by 2021, adding, “We have reached a production capacity of approximately 200 million units per year. We will decide whether to export by country or not. We tailor our phones to the needs of our customers. “

Ted Dye said of the after-sales service:

“We are currently partnering with KVK, GENPA and OUNO. They accept the tools of all our customers across Turkey.
