A television crew at the site for a live link found a GMC Sierra pickup truck completely sinking into a lake in the US state of Illinois. It all happened in Springfield Lake, which was used as a backdrop for the speech of the ABC News Channel 20 reporter.

From the beginning of the video you can see the white GMC Sierra slowly sinking behind him. A few seconds after talking to the camera, the reporter alerted someone and looked into what had happened.

According to the information, the owner of the truck used to set up a fishing boat in the lake. In the video near the truck you can see the reaction of the frustrated man when he disappears into the water.

The Sangamon County Rescue Squadron (SCRS) said: “Last night, the SCRS responded to a call to assist in the recovery of a vehicle that sank in Scringfield Lake. No injuries were reported in the incident.”

The GMC Sierra HD pickup truck is currently priced at approximately US $ 35,000 in the US and approximately US $ 180,000.
