It is now clear who the Swiss champions YB will face in qualifying for the Champions League. Bernice will compete in the first quarter on July 21st.

In short, the essentials

  • Shamrock defeated Slovak champions 1: 2 at Rovers.
  • Thanks to a 2-0 home win over Bratislava, Slovene is still in second place.
  • Bernice will visit Slovakia on July 21 and the second quarter will take place a week later.

Swiss champions YB are set to qualify for the Champions League on Tuesday evening. Bernice will face Slovak champions Sloven Bratislava in the second round of the CL qualifiers.

Will YB get a place in the Champions League?

Eleven-time champion Irish champion Shamrock defeated Rovers in the first qualifying round. After a 2-0 win in the first quarter in Bratislava, they needed to advance to a 2-1 defeat to Ireland.

Bernice is scheduled to play his first quarter on July 21 in Slovakia. A week later Slovene will be a guest in Vancouver. If they win against the Slovakians, there will be two more rounds separating YB from the group stage.

If Bernice loses to Slovakia champions, the third qualifying round for the Europa League continues. If you lose there too, you will continue in the playoffs for the new European Conference League.
