Electric cars, just 70% of the charging points in the three EU countries. Manufacturers Association threatens two-speed Europe

Published on

Brussels – Two-speed Europe exists today in the context of the fight against climate change. In fact, 70% of all electric car charging stations in the European Union are concentrated in just three Western European countries: the Netherlands (29.7%), France (20.4%), and Germany (19.9%). This is a snapshot of the current situation emerging from an analysis by Asia, the European Association of Automobile Manufacturers. Italy is the fourth country with 5.8%, far behind in the top three. Two-thirds of charging points are located in countries with only 23% of the EU surface area, with 30% of charging points scattered over the remaining 77% of the continent.

Countries of Eastern Europe, Greece, Ireland and Portugal, from the Baltic republics, have the largest basic deficit. In view of the presentation, on July 14, at least 20 million people went to the European Union (EU) by 2024 to discuss new proposals on CO2 emissions standards and to revise the proposal on infrastructure for alternative fuels. Today, Asia is estimated to be less than 225,000.
