Band TV presenter Joanna Trepoto’s father was rescued from the rubble of a collapsed building in Miami this Thursday (24).

Through her profile on social networks, the journalist thanked God for talking about a miracle that saved her family. The communicator says the patriarch of her family had lived in the landing building for 20 years.

“Thank God my family was saved. My father, wife and dog were all right. It’s a miracle. The building where he lived for 20 years collapsed. His apartment did not go down about 5 meters. Wrote on his Twitter profile.

Joanna Trepioto also thanked the messages of support she received and reported that 51 people were still missing.

“It’s hard to talk about a miracle that could have resulted in so many deaths. My father and wife are fine. I was so shaken up. I wanted to be close. Neighbors, people I have known for so long.

A 12-story building in Miami, Florida, United States, was partially destroyed today. Firefighters were able to rescue 35 people, according to the report. However, one woman’s leg had to be amputated to remove the debris, and another died.

Authorities say half of the building’s 136 apartments were destroyed. At least two of the survivors need to be hospitalized.

The cause of the incident near Surface Beach is still unknown. The Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department sent more than 80 fire and rescue units to the scene.

There was no confirmation of how many people were in the building at the time of the crash or how many were in the house, but a rescue worker spoke of “multiple accidents.”
