COVID19 in Ireland – Wednesday, June 2 What is changing

Published on

Ireland will continue on Wednesday, June 2 to ease health restrictions related to the Kovid-19 pandemic as the hotel sector reopens.

Guests at hotels and guesthouses are allowed to dine inside these hotels – however, this option will be limited to guests only until July 5th.

From June 7

Pubs and restaurants can serve customers on the terrace (groups limited to 6 people). There is no difference between pubs that serve food and those that do not.

The maximum number of people who can attend a reception wedding has been raised to 25.

Do-it-yourself sports events can be played but without spectators.

Cinemas can reopen.

Gyms, swimming pools and recreation centers can be reopened.

From July 5th

Room service will be available in pubs and restaurants from July 5.

A limit of 50 people can attend the wedding reception, which will rise to 100 on August 5th.

From July 19th

International travel will be allowed again from July 19 for unavoidable reasons.

Tavosich said the easing of restrictions in the fight against Kovid-19 would continue.
