In Lorient, Boise-du-Chatto is in Cambodian times – Lorient

After Ireland, Turkey, Portugal, Mayotte, Andean America, Italy and Morocco, L’Oreal’s Boise-du-Chato neighborhood is heading to Cambodia this year. Together with Samakon Ten Salha Khmer and Les Cambodians du Morbihan, a series of events is scheduled for June 12 in the district. “The goal of the project is to educate district residents about developmental education and citizenship,” Tidian Diouf, director of Boise-du-Chato’s community center, underlined.

A travel photo exhibition

Assignment “Citizens from here and elsewhere”, Redesigned in accordance with sanitary rules, this time in a month (in two days). Especially with a photo exhibition, it is going to visit the residents in their living spaces. Some photographs are displayed nearby, while others can be found at the bakery and local tobacco shop. Both HLM towers host a dozen photos in their halls. The exhibition is produced by amateur photographer Valerie Lamar.

Cambodia on the menu

A meeting with the artist will be held on Friday, May 28 at 10 am around the screening of the film “Draw a Future for Yourself” as a result of your art therapy experience with street children in Cambodia. That day, at 2 p.m., two professionals from the Accord Emerald Association will offer a discovery and an introduction to art therapy.

Residents will explore Cambodia on Saturday, May 22 and June 5 at 3 p.m. Finally, games, movies, dance start-ups, and traditional recipes from Cambodia will be offered to children in the neighboring country for four weeks.
