Colorado, shooting at a supermarket: 10 killed

Published on

The death toll from a shooting in Colorado has risen to ten. A man armed with an AR-15 rifle was shot in the Boulder supermarket. Eric Tally, 51, a police officer, was one of the first to intervene at the scene after first appealing for help in a mass shooting in the United States. The killer is in police custody due to injuries. Ten people, including Officer Eric Tally, were killed today, Colorado Governor Jared Police said in a statement.

Colorado mourns the death of ten people in the Boulder supermarket massacre. “Today we saw the face of evil – Governor Jared Police said in a statement – I mourn my community and the people of Colorado.” In a statement released on Twitter, the governor recalled a police officer who “lost his life” while “working to save another life”. “Our community – he added – is waiting for more information about the victims.”

Background of UR Rora and Columbine

This is not the first time Colorado has mourned a massacre. There are other sad examples of boulder events. In recent history, at least two mass shootings have brought terror to Colorado. In July 2012, the Aurora Massacre: During the screening of The Dark Knight Rises, in a busy movie, 12 people were killed and 70 injured. James Holmes was sentenced to 12 years in prison and 3,318 years in prison for the massacre.

In April 1999, 12 students and a teacher were killed in a shooting at Columbine High School in Littleton. Eric Harris and Dylan Claybold, students at the Institute, are the authors of one of the bloodiest school massacres in U.S. history. Twenty-one people were injured. Harris and Claybold take their own lives using the same weapons used in the massacre.
