Grace Moloney signs new contract with Reading
Grace Moloney has been reading since she was nine
Moloney joined the Royals at the age of nine and rose to the club’s first team.
Director Kelly Chambers told Readingfc.co.uk: “We are delighted to have reached an agreement with Grace Reading. Grace has always been a big part of the club, and keeping her for two years in addition to the time she’s already here shows great loyalty on both sides, which is very rare in the game.
“I think Grace’s performance this season is her best. He was one of the best goal scorers in the league. It turns out to me that she wants to get better, so I know we haven’t seen the best of her yet.
Moloni added, “I can’t wait for my journey to continue here. I have a feeling we are getting great results against some great teams this season.
Moloney has also been featured in 15 women’s Super League games
The 27-year-old has appeared in Reading’s 15 women’s Super League games, and the Royals are currently sixth.
Moloney became a permanent fixture in the Royals following a loan deal with Aston Villa in 2016.
She has represented the country at the Youth Squad level since participating in the U17 team at the 2010 World Cup and is also a Senior International in the Republic of Ireland.
