It is not clear how many employees will be affected if the Vienna base closes. Ryanair, the parent company of the Austrian Lodmotion, has since ceased operations. The newly established Loda in Malta moved to Europe, the only name being Austrian.
According to “Aviation.Direct”, Ryanair will continue to represent Vienna from January 1. Malta Air, the parent company of Ryanair and the group’s Ryanair DAC, also approaches Vienna, but they have no flights here.
