Graeme Sensenes claims that Arsenal have only two players to win trophies

Published on

Graeme Sensenes claims that only a handful of Arsenal players are up to the standard required to earn major honors in the Gunners’ misjudgment.

Michael Arteta’s team are 15th in the Premier League after a poor start to the season and a six-game unbeaten run in the top flight.

There were some hints in their last match – a 1-1 draw with Southampton – but Arsenal finished second in the Emirates clash.

The campaign’s poor start has raised serious questions about Arteta’s credentials – but Sensenz argues that the problem is with the players rather than the management team.

Suns gave the Gunners a bad rating

“They haven’t got enough good players,” Sensenz said.

“You have to look beyond the manager and the people who sign.

“Signature size and signature quality. If you do not have the tools to work with him, you will not perform well in our league.

“You have to invest and include some of the best players if you are at Arsenal. I want to think about the size of the club, the funds they have in London.

“But they ‘re not so good. You can go through their team like I did last week.

“If you want to win you get a maximum of two, three, or four players, that’s enough to do it. That’s the top and bottom of it.”

The Gunners’ last win in the Premier League was a 1-0 win over Manchester United on November 1, with Pierre-Emerick Obamayang netting the winner from a penalty spot.

They were then beaten by Aston Villa, Wolves, Tottenham and Burnley and drawn with Leeds and Southampton.
