One celestial body will end on Monday and another will begin. The best meteor shower of the year – the Gemini meteorite

However, the last solar eclipse of 2020 will not be visible in India because of its time, the Earth’s rotations and revolutions around its axis and orbit, respectively. This will be a total solar eclipse because the moon will completely cover the sun, blocking the light coming from the star in our solar system and thus casting a dark shadow or umbrella over the planet.

According to Timeanddate.com, the solar eclipse is expected to begin at 7:03 pm and last for five hours. IST will peak at 9:43 pm and end on December 15 at 12:23 pm. Due to the eclipse, Chile and Argentina are expected to see darkness for two minutes and ten seconds. Partial phases of the eclipse can be seen in some parts of South America, South-West Africa, and Antarctica.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the US space agency, will provide a live link to space chiefs around the world to witness a total solar eclipse later this year.

A solar eclipse is the result of the position of the moon between the sun and the earth. The intervening moon controls the path of the sun’s rays reaching the earth and instead casts its shadow on the planet. Eclipses can be seen in some parts of the earth that are dark due to the shadow of the moon.

India is expected to see the next solar eclipse on June 10, 2021, which will be an annual solar eclipse. It gives the image of a ring of fire in the sky when the moon fails to completely block the sun and its outer edges are still visible.
