Irish students at Athlon Community College can chat with Shannon Walker, an astronaut at the International Space Station (RSS).

The students had planned for the event for a whole year, chatting with the Athlon Community College RSS on Monday and traveling in space at a speed of 27,600 kilometers per hour. The Q&A session began with the help of amateur radio at the International Space Station (ARIS).

The college has set up a makeshift radio station to illuminate a line-of-vision signal when flying directly over the ISS.

Shannon Walker, a US astronaut aboard the ISS, answers Irish students’ questions and fills them with life. Space. The questions include climate change and the most difficult parts of space.

Event organizer and science teacher Laura Donnellan said, “It made the whole school community happy that at one point in their lives the staff and students never forgot.

“It’s a great opportunity for students to see the opportunities and opportunities that life offers and for all of us to see how far technology has come.”
