Jurgen Klopp has effectively confirmed that goalkeeper Cavomin Keller will retain his place in Sunday’s clash with the Wolves.
The 22-year-old Irishman beat Ajax 1-0 at midwick for the injured Allison, and Klopp says the Brazilian is still injured and cannot think of a reason to expel him from the team again.
“He is a hard worker and will no doubt handle all the conflicts around him well,” Reds boss said.
“Throwing him into that game was a big call [against Ajax] But thank God it worked. Unfortunately it’s not always so, it’s not bad for the players, it’s the wrong time for the manager.
“Kaomin is a talented goalie. It’s very difficult for goalies and goalies have to wait.
“They may be unusual, but they will have to wait for the opportunity, because there is only one keeper on the pitch, and if this keeper plays for 10 consecutive years, it’s very difficult.

“You can still be an amazing goalie, no one will see. Now he’s got a chance, he convinced everyone.
“He didn’t have to convince us, obviously – we thought it would be like this. But he convinced everyone, that’s good.”
Kellogg’s decision to start against the Dutch giants was astounding, with former West Ham stopper Adrian being considered second only to Liverpool, but Klopp says the Spain card took it well.
“Adrian is not fit to be written off now, and for no reason at all. He supported Kawaiim in an extraordinary way. He behaved incredibly well after receiving information that he would not start,” he said.

“Really, really, a lot of respect for it. He really expected it, but a lot of respect for it anyway.
“Caomin did well, so I have no reason at the moment to say he’s not going to start against the wolf.
“But in the meantime he has training, he has to be healthy, we have sessions. All sorts of things like that.
“But he did enough to convince me, but he already did it months and years ago. Sometimes you can wait for the right moment. We thought the right moment came on Tuesday.”
