Caomin Keller helps Liverpool win the Champions League

On an unforgettable Champions League night at Anfield, their 22-year-old goalkeeper from Cork sealed their last-16 berth by beating the Dutch team 1-0.

Caymin Keller, who has played only a handful of games for the Reds and made his Premier League debut so far, was thrown in the 11th hour after injury to regular keeper Alison and back-up Adrian.

“It was amazing to make my debut in a Champions League match, and it’s so big for me,” Keller said after his late stop from class John Handel.

“Obviously the most important thing was to win and qualify. That’s what we did, so yes, the best night.”

“I train every day to make sure I’m ready for a game, and thankfully I was able to make some gains tonight.” Naturally, Kellar’s election took the imagination back home.

While the performance gained him new fans, he was more attracted to people returning home.

“My phone has been hopping since I signed in! But a big thank you to everyone out there, for all the support and messages I received, and I thank them. ”

More importantly, the Cork man attracted Jurgen Klopp as Addison set out for two weeks.

“In this game, we need Kwaim’s ability to play natural football. He is also a good shot stopper. I am glad he was so calm and so good. It was a good game, “said Klopp.
