We haven’t reviewed this WH-CH710N, but we really like their predecessor, the Sony WH-CH700N, which we gifted four out of five stars.
They are inferior to Sony’s top-of-the-range (expensive) WH-1000XM4 and WH-100XM3, but they still offer detailed, musical performance. Here the 710N is promised to be upgraded to 700N.
They appreciate Sony’s new voice-over technology, which adjusts itself based on how serious your surroundings are. There’s also a new ambient sound pass-through mode that lets you hear the noise of your surroundings, allowing you to hear or hear traffic noise or train notifications.
Battery life is a remarkable 35 hours, of which one hour can be filled with 10 minutes of charge. There’s also NFC for at-a-tap wireless pairing and a button to launch your phone’s voice assistant.
At this low price, we suspect that this deal will last a long time. If you’re lost it last time, do not make the same mistake twice – bring home a pair of serviceable Sony 710N voice – canceling wireless headphones today.
