Details of the removal of the Level 5 restrictions will be announced by the government next week

The government will announce the details by the end of next week to remove the Level 5 restrictions and reopen the retail sector, said Damien English, Minister of Labor and Retail Business.

Mr English told RTE Radio’s News at One that the plans would be announced when the NPH and other experts have time to analyze data from the first four weeks of the Level 5 regulation.

Throughout the Lockdown, the government interacted with the retail sector and identified difficulties encountered. The minister added that the cabinet would make an announcement by the end of next week.

More opening hours will be considered to ease demand, but it will not be like the other Christmas he warned.

A lot of work has been done in planning to ease the restrictions. English said the government understands the difficulties faced by businesses and the public. “Of course the plans are for us to open as soon as possible.”

Safely reopening

If the NPET reviews and analyzes the figures, it will meet with the cabinet next week to discuss the details and give the government the “right decision” on how to open the country safely.

The minister said the full purpose was to reopen the retail sector on December 1. “We have always said that we will reopen whenever the figures allow.”

Mr. English said Nfet was “lying like a hawk” and lied to that ebay “government decisions, Nfet advises.”

He acknowledged that their numbers were not enough to defeat Lukashenko’s government and said that the best way to control the virus was to “push it back”.

The virus spreads in many settings, he said, adding that Level 5 controls are needed to prevent social contacts and prevent the virus from spreading.
