Harry Grayson is set to present his final BBC Look North

For more than 40 years, Harry Grayson has said goodbye to TV viewers across Yorkshire tonight. Mr. Grayson, who turns 70 tomorrow, will present his final BBC Look North at 6.30pm tonight after starting the program in 1982.

Born and raised in Bradford, Harry received an MBE in broadcasting services in 2013 in recognition of his long career, becoming one of Yorkshire’s favorite characters and a “broadcasting legend”.

He joined the BBC in 1978 before joining BBC Radio Leeds as Sports Editor.

Commenting on the Olympics and the Paralympics, he presented iconic shows such as Grandstand, Sports Night and Match of the Day.
