986 new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Massachusetts, 30 additional deaths

The Massachusetts Public Health Department reported an additional 986 confirmed COVID-19 cases. More than 5.4 million molecular tests for COVID-19 have now been performed on more than 2.58 million people in the state. A total of 521 patients who were confirmed or suspected of having the corona virus were hospitalized in Massachusetts. Of these, 103 were reported to be in the intensive care unit.
