€24 leather trousers on Amazon |
Harry G. Prey’s Carnival Derbleck
Munich – What would Vees be without traditional clothes? Our foreign Oktoberfest visitors ask themselves the same question. Sometimes they are dexterous, sometimes extendable, with lederhosen and dindles.
BILD photographed the wildest – one might almost say – outfits – and asked none other than comedian and actor Harry G for an opinion.
He clearly told Bild!
► Stefano arrives from Italy and dances his “dirndl” over Hacker Bridge:
Harry G: “Well, she’s got good hair, on her face and legs, nothing to complain about. Also, she looks drunk. Or: The dirndl is too short and I can’t see if the bow is on the right side. Please, no socks on the dirndl shoes.”
► Four people from Ireland bought their clothes on Amazon for €24 each.
Harry G: “Millions of polyesters had to die for this ‘lederhosen’, terrible. These materials are highly flammable, so be careful! Or they are color coordinated. Now add the right socks and you can do it – so only if it’s a gift.
► Three Frenchmen, Giuliano, Baptiste and Louis, first in Veison. The cost of their dress, which they shopped online: 40 euros.
Harry G: “They look like they’re from the Heidi movie, Got Peter and his friends. Honey! Plaid shirt = total cliché. Don’t go! Looking at the way the boy’s pants are tied in the middle, I ask myself, is he laughing or hurt?”
► Jessica from New Jersey also bought her “Dirndl” from Amazon:
Harry G: “Looks like a funkenmariechan is on his way to the Hansestrasse. With all the love, I just love the professional composition with the ferris wheel around the skull. Insta-boy thought of it, wow!
