From April 21, the series takes viewers on an unprecedented expedition to Milan, through a group of young Italians of the first and second generations, through the “invisibility” of the perimeter.
Zero wants to stay away from Milan in fashion, finance and design Hunger. The new Netflix series (in eight episodes) is sely inspired by the book I was never my age (2018), by young Italian writer Antonio Dickel Distefano, explores the well-known Milan, for tourists and Downing own residents in any situation, but not really less. We move to the Milanese suburbs, subcultures, rap, in the heart of first and second generation Italians.
In the book, the author, who was born in Italy to the most promising Angolan parents of his generation on the Peninsula, recounts his childhood through intimate stories, marking poverty and the difficult life in the suburbs. The book is about a misunderstood and invisible generation that we find in the Zero series, but in a different way.
The protagonist is a shy boy who finds the power to disappear when he wants to flee from the district of Bario on the outskirts of Milan. He also finds friendships with Sheriff, Inno, Mammo, and Sarah.
Mahmoud, the singer who conquered Italy, was given the soundtrack
