Irish youth are now creating a sensation by using their traditional dance videos against the backdrop of pop music. They are now known all over the world, they are between 17 and 21 years old. US President Joe Biden invited them to the White House for St. Patrick’s Day.

At the Place du Trocadero in Paris, a group of friends between the ages of 17 and 21 were excited to see the Eiffel Tower among tourists. They come from Ireland, and they bring back their equipment: special boards and shoes instead. In a matter of seconds, the Eiffel Tower turns into a vibrant dance floor. This group is called “Caird”, which means “friend” in Gaelic.

During the lockdown, their traditional Irish dance videos went viral, postcard-perfect sets from Ireland. Masterstroke of this group: Changing music. Thanks to them, folklore takes on a real mask. This victory surprised themselves. Today, they intend to popularize Irish culture across the planet, reaching all generations through social networks.
