Do’s and Don’ts of Voice Feedback
The most important thing is that the Apple Watch Series 7 does not do that. When you want to know speed and distance, you can’t know the number. In other words, a cyclocomputer is still needed. So what can you do? Apple’s explanation is not enough, so I did a lot of research and finally found it, but the Apple Watch Series 7 told me that if I run a certain distance, it will tell me the speed and distance there. It could be Apple Watch’s built-in speaker (which makes a lot of noise) or a Bluetooth earphone like AirPods. However, due to road traffic rules and local regulations, an ear or bone conductor is used. In English, it reads speed and distance every 5 miles. Speaking of which, the Garmin Edge 130, which I use regularly, emits a polyp sound every 5 km, which is a guide when running a certain distance. However, if I do not count myself, I will be asked, “Well, is it 30km or 35km now?” If it is Japanese, it should read speed and distance instead of 5 miles every 5 km or every 10 km. So, when I first ran on the share bike, I turned on this voice feedback, but it was not read aloud because it was not far enough. To test this, first run about 5 km to 10 km. Other than that, it’s not special to Series 7 and I wonder if it can be used before, so I’ll give it a try too. Again, this can only be understood by running so far. That’s why I ran more than 60km for confirmation. A route from Shakuji Park, where my house is located, across the Tama River to Lawson on the Machida Highway, the last point of the ridge trunk (Minamithamon Trunk Road) where cyclists congregate. In the iPhone Watch app, select a workout and turn on audio feedback. The cycling item also has an automatic suspension. Now, when you pause at a pedestrian crossing, you will hear a voice saying “Workout paused” and pause. This is a feature of the Cyclone, but it’s not yet possible on the Apple Watch cycling, so I will voluntarily pause it as it gets longer. Automatic pause, very convenient. Sounds a little embarrassing when people are around, but don’t worry. This feature can no longer be turned off.
