Decryption – Five defeats in six games, a slump to fifth in the world, a coach on the hot seat… New Zealand rugby is in crisis. The future is not very encouraging.

In New Zealand, where rugby is a religion, the rough patch experienced by the All Blacks in recent months has been making headlines and fueling debate. The men with the Silver Fern conceded their fifth defeat in their last six matches in South Africa last Saturday. 26-10 loss, the heaviest against the Springboks since 1928… the second country to win a Test series in the Northern Hemisphere (after France in 1994). As a result of these poor results, the All Blacks dropped to 5th placeE Global space. Clearly the worst ranking in their history.
