“Moschtfescht” is Sunday, October 9 at the open-air museum in Buren. The museum offers apple juice, jelly and fruit from the village. There are also useful tips for maintaining lawns and gardens. A large apple and pear display shows an impressive variety of varieties. As parking spaces at the open-air museum are limited, the museum’s sponsor, the Esslingen District, offers a free alternative parking space with a free shuttle bus service to the open-air museum. An alternative parking lot is the Tiefenbachtal (former Bundeswehr depot) between Nürtingen and Owen or Beuren (K 1243). Alternative parking spaces are marked and buses run from 10.30am until the end of the event.
