What concerts are on the bill this week for the Beatles, Ireland…Chartrestivals?

A new week means new concerts this time around Chartestivalous 2022 edition. As every Monday, find out for the upcoming program, 8th to 14th August 2022.

An Irish vibe…

As a reminder, these concerts are absolutely free and are organized in three different locations (Les Halles, Chatelet and Billard). Chartres (Eure-et-Loire). For its thirtieth edition, Chartrestivals will meet every day at 9 pm till August 27, except Sundays and public holidays.

The week of concerts will start with a rock ball for children on Monday August 8 at the Place Billard with the group “Les zelectrons frits”.

The next day, in the Place des Halles, a new group, La Marquise, offers rock songs and swing gingut.

A new change of atmosphere on Wednesday, August 10, once again at the Place des Halles: Comrades Irish Big Band will sing country, bluegrass and American folk.

… and Liverpooldian

On Thursday 11 August, meet at Chartres Cathedral for an organ concert. It is given by Jean-Baptiste Courtois, Honorary Professor at the National Conservatory of Music in Paris.

Chartrestivals will return to the Place des Halles for French songs on Friday evening, August 12, with the group “Jean’s Grandchildren”.
