Longtime WGAL audio engineer Chuck Clark has died of a corona virus

Years of attention will not participate in his online listening. Some news to report to us is different. We have a great – sad loss. Chuck Clark died when he was 70 years old. Last week he worked at WGAL for 50 years. Janel Stellson has a vision of his life and law. >> Join me for a round of applause celebrating Chuck. Janelle: Last November, he was included in WGAL’s reputation as an honorary employee working only here. Beginning in 1969, in his 50-year career, he needed everything from preparatory film – he said everything about Pep – to make the film, divert the news, and lead the complex audio board. His son tells us he works here. Over the past five decades, he has trained and shared knowledge with both men and young broadcasters. Last week he was running an audio board for newscasts. He celebrated his fiftieth anniversary last year, and talked about the technological changes he has seen. >> We saw that I went from electronics to electronics, because when we first came here it was reduced to the size of a cell phone because we were so big. You can’t record things on a cell phone. This is not thought. Janell tells his son that his father admitted Saturday to Lancaster General Hospital, where he was positive for the corona virus and tested in the care unit of interest. He passed away Monday morning with his wife. Anne: – Here: One day. He was quick with a smile and a smile. He is one of those people who illuminates your day. Ann: When he was in the room, he did not need much attention, but he was a gentleman and the kind of person you could not help him with. Christian: 3:45, I want to wait for him, help my microphone and say good morning, no matter how much pressure I put on the forecast. Or how shaped, he would smile at me. He was happy and a real person. 50 years here, put a big hole in our hearts. Here: His wife is hospitalized with coronavirus, join us in keeping his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
