It’s another cold morning in Dublin Met Ireland Warns motorists of dangerous driving conditions.
A status yellow fog warning will remain in place until 1pm today, the forecaster said, adding that it could be dense due to the possibility of freezing in places.
On top of this, snow-covered stretches and inland snow patches are leading to dangerous driving conditions in some parts of the city this morning.
After clearing the fog it will remain very cold at a temperature of 1 to 4C.
There will be more rain at first tomorrow, however it will be dry all day, slightly warmer, with high temperatures of 6 to 7C.
Things will change dramatically as heavy rains lash the country from Wednesday.
Thick clouds from the west will begin to dry across the country until the afternoon and evening before heavy rains.
It will rain on Wednesday night before another heavy downpour on Thursday from the west.
The forecast for the weekend does not seem to be good, with the forecaster saying that sometimes more rainy conditions will remain “problem-free”.
