FRANKFURT / MAIN (DPA) – National coach Martina Vos-Teklenberg wants to use all the nominees for the upcoming two games in view of their national soccer players’ limited time limit.

“If this is possible somehow, no player should make two full games,” the 52-year-old said in a press release. “That’s not right in clubs either.”

Germany will face Greece in Ingolstadt on November 27 in the final European Championship qualifier against Dublin (December 1) in Ireland. After six wins without conceding a single goal, the DFB team has already qualified for the 2022 European Championships in England.

Vos-Telenberg also wants to personally think about the condition of their players in training. “One or the other will definitely not be in a training session,” the national coach said.

Despite the lack of some regular players and the expected rotation, Vos-Teklenberg said: “We want to play the best two games regardless of who is on the field.”
