Team of Stunning We traveled by car for eight days to reach one of the coldest places on the planet. What our reporters did not imagine was that they would find a magical place. Watch the full report in the video above.
In summer, northern rivers and lakes carry water to all shores. But when winter comes, they become a silent abyss. This trail is open to our team, the far north: the Arctic Circle.
Ice roads lead to a people living in a very isolated place. These people claim that the secret of the future of mankind will be kept at the bottom of the lake.
The report left New York and went to Toronto, Canada. From there he went to Edmonton. Days later, Yellowknife, there is an airport. The temperature was already -40 degrees Celsius.
The plan was: First, 650 km of asphalt. Then, 220 km in a mixture of asphalt and riverbank. Then ride only on winter roads.
In this report you will see:
- Transparent ice sheets visible at the bottom of the lake below;
- Wooden bridges over ice cracks;
- Wild buffalo grazing in the snow;
- People who are isolated in an area that is inaccessible by hand during the summer.
