Video: China tests a giant drone

Published on

A video clip of a Chinese drone similar to the Russian Ann 2 is circulating on YouTube, flying in the sky, landing after a remote-controlled aircraft at a Chinese military airport.

Experts in the Chinese military showed the clip of the process of preparing and testing the aircraft, and the “Sputnik” agency reports that this Chinese aircraft, called the “Pyongyang 98”, is very similar to the old Russian “N2” aircraft.

China is experimenting with aircraft without the involvement of pilots, creating a program that allows them to remotely control small and large aircraft.

In addition to the successful landing process, Chinese experts were able to fly the aircraft through a remote control program, which is the most difficult step.

It is noteworthy that in 2018, for the first time, the Chinese aircraft “Feihong 98” was used, after China obtained official Russian approval to build this model aircraft similar to the Russian “An2”.
