Research leader and sociologist Sabrina Danielson Concludes: Catholic teachings on climate change have been largely ignored by US bishops. This is amazing in the climate crisis we are experiencing. Danielson draws attention to the fact that some bishops have downplayed the severity of the climate crisis and have often downplayed parts of Laudato C that are in line with their orthodox political ideology.
