Ukraine celebrates ‘significant victory’ after Russian withdrawal from Kherson

Foreign Minister of Ukraine congratulated on Friday “A Major Victory”Occupation since early March, after announcement of Russian withdrawal from north of Kherson region. “Ukraine is now on its way to another major victory, proving that no matter what Russia says or does, Ukraine will win”Confirming Twitter Dmytro Kuleba.

The Ukrainian diplomatic chief released a video showing, according to him, residents of Byloserka, a few kilometers from Kherson, in the process of tearing down a poster announcing “Russia is here forever”. Rada, Ukraine’s parliament, also released photos of civilians waving Ukrainian flags in Kherson. Ukrainian forces have not announced that they have entered the city, the capital of the oblast of the same name. Later in the afternoon, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that it had ended at 5 a.m. (3 a.m. in Paris). “Reassignment” Units from the right bank to the left bank of the Dnieper, where Kherson is located, ensure that they have no casualties or military equipment left behind.

This major withdrawal was the third since the invasion had begun, and on February 24, Russia abandoned the capture of Kyiv in the spring and almost all of Kharkiv’s north-east territory in September.
