(ANSA) – Rome, March 03 – Russian President Vladimir Putin has put pressure on French President Emmanuel Macron to do everything possible to ensure the evacuation of all foreigners from Ukraine. Tass reported this, referring to the content of today’s telephone interview.
Putin will continue his fight against the nationalists in Ukraine “without compromise.” The Russian president himself told Macron that he could increase his demands in Kiev.
An hour-and-a-half-long phone call between Macron and Putin was commissioned by the Russian president, an opportunity to test “the Russian president’s determination to go through the operation in Ukraine”: this was learned from Elysee. According to sources, Putin called Macron “to inform him of the situation in the framework of the ongoing dialogue between Moscow and Paris and his intentions.”
