Tiger Woods celebrates in Ireland ahead of the 150th British Open at St Andrews.

World golf icon JP McManus played again for two days in front of a crowd committed to his cause in the Pro-Am.

Eternal magic. Tiger Woods, who landed in Ireland from Monday, has delighted his fans who have been following his every move for the past two days. The American, who has been out of golf since retiring from the PGA Championship in May 2022, has opted to brave the British summer temperatures (!) before taking on the JP and targeting the 150th edition of The Open (July 14-17). McManus Pro-Am on the course at Adare Manor, near Limerick.

Yesterday, on a wet first day, Tiger Woods returned a very lackluster card of 77 (+5). However, the former world number 1 had the crowd roaring after his game on the par five of hole n°12.

Today, Tiger Woods finished his second round with a score of 74 (+2) to a genuine ovation from the crowd gathered around the final green.

A player with fifteen major wins is enough to encourage him in the direction of St. Andrews (Scotland), where the British Open will be held this season.
