Tickets for Ireland’s World Cup qualifiers against Portugal have sold out

Published on

A visit to Portugal next month at the Aviva Stadium will take place in front of the Full House.

Tickets for the World Cup qualifiers on November 11 sold out within two hours today.

The easing of the restrictions on Kovid-19 means that there will be a crowd at full capacity.

The friendly against Qatar was sold out earlier this month but the stadium was almost half full.

Although Stephen Kenny’s team may not qualify for the World Cup, he hopes to continue the excellent form he showed in the last international window.

They beat Azerbaijan 3-0 and beat Qatar 4-0 on Lansdowne Road.

There is also a conspiracy that Cristiano Ronaldo will arrive in Dublin next month.

When the two teams clashed at the Farrow at the start of the group stage, he scored two goals at the end of the match to secure a 2-1 victory.
