The following year there was no children’s play in the Theater Am Term (TaT). But with the help of combined forces, “a suitcase full of miracles” finally made it to the program.
VS-Villingen – January 6, premiere at 3 p.m. Artistic Director Liliana Valla feels that Christmas is not Christmas without a TaT ticket as a gift under the Christmas tree and is happy to find a director in her daughter Evelina and two actresses in Marnie Schulz and Mayrelis Rizza who continue the tradition of stage play. Children continue at the beginning of the year.
Lots of stage experience
A foray through international fairy tales, originally curated by Gunnar Kunz, staged with triple girl power and plenty of stage experience. Narrator of such unusual and largely unknown fairy tales as “The Humpback” from Ireland, “The Magic Pot” and “Three” from Turkey – a wood elf – trained actress Marni Schulz, who will soon open an acting school in Tati. Brothers and Sleep “from Senegal and more.
Meirelis, 13, who has already been on stage in “Die Taubenkomisare”, has also played in Padmini Baun’s Thanstheatre and is an elf dedicated to the production of music and sounds. In a large suitcase, two nature creatures bring not only fairy tales, but all kinds of tools and onomatopoeia. The hour-long engrossing entertainment is suitable for children from the age of four, not just adults, says director Evelina Valla.
