Anarchy and Floods: Storm in Ireland and UK
Belfast / Dublin.For the third time in a few days there will be a storm in Ireland and Great Britain. After Hurricane Dudley and Eunice, also known as “Ylenia” and “Zeynep” in Germany, Hurricane “Franklin” devastated the Irish Islands and England on Monday night.

In the Republic of Ireland, 30,000 homes and companies were without power this morning. In Northern Ireland, part of the United Kingdom, 10,000 homes were temporarily without power. It affected thousands of people in the north of England. Several trees fell, disrupting road and train traffic. In Greater Manchester, parts of the M6 motorway were closed due to accidents involving lorries. Several train operators across the country, including London, have canceled connections and advised against train travel.
The Dawn River overflows in English County, South Yorkshire. A total of 187 flood warnings were in effect in England as of Monday morning. According to a British meteorological expert, the broadcaster Sky News has been warned of three hurricanes in the UK in seven days.
