“The supply of chips will be low until September next year,” said Takeshi Kamebuchi, director in charge of semiconductors at one of Toshiba’s units, quoted from Tomsguide on Sunday (12/9/2021).

“In some cases, we may find that some customers are not fully served until 2023.” He continued.

He added that this is not a problem for consoles like the Xbox Series X. PS5 Just. Chip shortages affect other consumer electronics and mobile phones.
