The season that Barcelona won it all

  • The Champions League

This one was during a complicated match against Shakhtar Donetsk, at the Luis II Stadium in Monaco, where the Spaniards did not achieve the first and only goal until the 115th minute thanks to Pedro Rodríguez, who entered in the 80th minute of the match and was the author of the goal that served to lift the fifth title of the year.

For this year they only had the Club World Cup left to win. 

In this match, they also had to turn the score in the final, which they played against Club Estudiantes de La Plata. Two minutes from the end, Pedro placed the 1-1 on the scoreboard, and minutes later, in extra time, Messi scored with his chest the second goal in the 110th minute and thus achieved the sixth championship for Barcelona in the 2009.
