Bundesliga announces broadcasting rights agreement with Sky Sports for the UK and Ireland. The contract is signed for the next four seasons (until 2024/2025), including the German Super Cup.

Under the agreement, Sky German Championship Games will be broadcast on its linear channels and various digital platforms, with emphasis on matches shown on Saturdays. The partnership aims to create innovative content formats and interactive experiences aimed at bringing the most famous players in the Bundesliga to the British and Irish audiences.

The deal strengthens Sky Sports’ position as a leading provider of sports in the UK and further expands the partnership between the media company and the Bundesliga, after which it has already acquired the rights to broadcast the tournament in Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. For many years.

It is a partnership that delivers the best of the Bundesliga on a weekly basis through world-class production and cross-platform coverage. As Sky is our partner, Bundesliga fans will benefit from the first-class football experience. Combined with the Bundesliga’s offensive football style, this means fans can look forward to an action-packed season with some of the best players in the world and the most exciting emerging talent.

We are happy to have won the Bundesliga rights. Sky Sports customers have the opportunity to see the best players in the world and some of the top teams in Europe. This new four-year deal adds the Bundesliga to our football offerings in the UK and Ireland, which already includes the Premier League, EFL Championship, Scottish Premiership and FA Women’s Super League, and World Cup qualifiers, and Sky Sports’ home-grown sporty sport! Lich added.
