Keep vegetables fresh thanks to two independent indoor units
Generally, the refrigerator will use the same indoor unit. To prevent this situation, Samsung has applied Twin Cooling Plus two independent indoor unit technology in refrigerators. As a result, the humidity in the refrigerator is always preserved at an optimal level of 70%, vegetables and fruits stay fresh for twice as long as usual, keeping their freshness, sweetness and full original taste. In addition, the compartments are odorless while avoiding the flow of cold air between the freezer and cooler compartments.

According to research from Intertech, minus one degree Celsius is the optimum freezing temperature to help preserve the nutrients of fish meat. Samsung has applied this unique technology to a new generation of refrigerators called the Optimum Fresh Zone soft-freezer compartment with a temperature of one degree Celsius.
Since the food is not frozen, it still retains its elasticity and softness, does not break the structure, and nutrition is thus preserved. This soft freezer compartment also helps to skip the defrosting step of food, which can be easily sliced and sliced directly, saving cooking time when needed.
