A few hours later, the second division club announced to the public that the loan deal was closed until the end of the season.

Kerim expands our potential in defense and midfield. At a young age he has experience from the Bundesliga, the second division and the national under-20 team. We are delighted to have Kerim helping us in the second half of the season. He comes running game operations and wants to take the next step in his development with us. Thanks to Schalke 04, Kerim and his agent for being willing to accept this loan, otherwise it wouldn’t have happened,” explains sporting director Mikail Kabaka. SVS

Kalhanoglu has known Kurfals since childhood. He started his career at SC Pfingstberg-Hochstätt. I want to learn a lot in the second division and grow into a seasoned professional. I would like to thank the very good discussions with the responsible people at SV Sandhausen. Now I’m looking forward to getting started.
