An Australian university is currently applying for a 50% scholarship. This opportunity is for international undergraduate and graduate students with excellent academic records. This is your chance, study in Australia at Griffith University.

The public institution is located in the eastern part of the province of Queensland. The scholarships are part of the Griffith Outstanding Scholarship Program, which seeks to attract international students with a favorable academic record.

Study in Australia, what are the requirements?

In addition to having a good academic record, students must meet certain selection criteria to be part of the program and be eligible for the scholarship, which are:

  • Be a citizen of any country other than Australia and New Zealand;
  • Have a GPA score of at least 5.5 or above on a 7-point scale;
  • Evidence of proficiency in English at the required levels in undergraduate or graduate courses;
  • Enroll in a full program.

In order to receive the 50% scholarship, the selected training course and scholarship program must be passed before the end of the application period. The Griffith Remarkable Scholarship Program is usually permanent, so if you are unable to complete your application, you can prepare for the next edition.

How to apply?

Applications are online via the Griffith University website (https://www.griffith.edu.au/apply/international). The deadline is December 3, 2022, the student must select the program they wish to be a part of and separate the requested documentation:

  • Copy of academic transcript translated into English;
  • Copy of proof of proficiency in English;
  • letter of interest;
  • Portfolio or audition (for music or visual arts students).

Scholarships are awarded on merit and are valid for the entire duration of the courses. Classes are scheduled to begin in 2023. Students can follow the analysis process till the result is out through the university website. After the result, those accepted will receive a letter offering the scholarship and the program.

The student has a deadline to accept the offer, otherwise the scholarship will be withdrawn. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the university panel. The result for first semester admission will be published in December 2022.
