Strictly Come Dancing: Bill Bailey Raises Souls at Lockdown with ‘Ever Favorite’ Dance

Published on

If you’re getting frustrated with lockdown, there seems to be only one simple and quick cure …

The answer is that you see Bill Bailey in strictly cum dancing.

Fans fell in love with the comedian’s performance on Saturday (November 14) night, which broke up with his dance partner, the last Stricktly winner, Ottie Maboos.

The 55-year-old Sugar Hill team’s 1980 hit ‘A Rapper’s Delight’ sounded like some cloud moves moves, formerly IIT.

The show’s official Twitter page described it as an “epic routine” and “already one of the strictest history books.”

The star tweeted before the performance, which garnered more than 15,000 likes: “Before the dance to rapper’s Delight tonight, Ottie Maboos and I looked sharp.

“Don’t stop the pulse until the morning break!”

Bill and Ottie received full marks from Judge Shirley Ballas, nine from Anton Du Becke (Saturday’s judge’s special stand) and eight from Craig Revel Horwood.

It came in second behind presenter Clara Ampho and partner Alja Korzanek.

We can not deny that the performance certainly made us smile and seemed to excite the other fans we see at home.

One viewer said: “The first person to smile on my dial today was Bill Bailey! Absolutely great dance!”

“I loved Bill Bailey’s dance, put a smile on my face, that’s for sure,” someone else tweeted.

“The whole day felt like death until I saw Bill Bailey’s dancing strictly, and now I feel better, what a nuisance,” one fan said.

“He basically saved my life #that’s all,” another added.

Bill’s dance attracted a lot of fans, and one even said: “It was Bill Bailey’s all-time favorite #strictive dance.”

One fan exclaimed: “If no one sees ibbcstrictly this year, please see if Bill Bailey’s dances are anything else.

“Bloom’s Miracle!”

Catch Bill Bailey dances strictly next Saturday (November 21) at 7.10pm.
