Strictly Come Dancing 2020 Lineup | Meet JJ Chalmers

The sixth week of Strictly Come Come Dancing started this weekend with a Bangalore match between the best contestants.

JJ Chalmers returns to the dance floor as professional dance partner Amy den den Lauren Daigal performs a Viennese waltz to rescue.

While working as a Royal Marine in Afghanistan, Chalmers acknowledged that he had previously studied the Waltz, an improvement on the Waltz at his Viennese Waltz Week One, for which he scored just 19 points.

Following his performance in the sixth week, the Strictly cum Dancing judges gave him a healthy 24 points, placing him joint fourth on the Strictly cum Dancing Leaderboard.

It was a small drop from the week just before Stevie Wonder scored 25 points for Quickstep to Four Once in My Life.

However, the 33-year-old seemed happy with his result. Should he be removed from the dance office and taken one step closer to the Strictly Come Dancing Final and Glitterball?

If he wants to oppose HRV, he will have to earn some extra points when he votes strictly from the public – the one who is currently sitting on top of the board with 30 points.

The television presenter strictly fits in with an incredible back story. His career as a Royal Marine Commando was cut short following life-changing injuries following the IED blast in Afghanistan.

However, after years of rehab, JJ participated in the 2014 Invictus Games and won three medals there as captain of the trek cycling team.

As the spokesperson for the inaugural Invictus Games, JJ got an insight into TV and got involved in broadcasting.

His groundbreaking role came in 2016 as a studio presenter for the Rio Paralympics.

Since 2017, he has anchored BBC One coverage of Invictus games.

The Commonwealth Games and the London Marathon are other important features of the BBC Sport.

As part of the BBC’s ceremonial team, JJ commented on the Lord Mayer show and participated in the D-Day Memorial programming.

Fans will recognize him from his performances on The One Show, BBC Breakfast, Getways, The People Remorber, Radio 5 Lives from Helmond, and Back.

Week 6: Viennese Vaults (8 + 8 + 8) = 24

JJ’s strict performance goes up and down.

He caught the attention of the fans when he made his debut through Strictly.

JJ began learning dance from a fellow sailor while serving in Afghanistan to attract his current wife. Soon after, the audience was touched when they heard how he was injured in an explosion.

However, in the second week, his paso doubles finished tenth on the leaderboard with just 17 points.

The former Royal Marine who danced with professional partner Amy Dowden fell on my head from last week’s Movie Week Extravaganza with judges focusing on raindrops from Bud Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

Both received 24 points from the judges who shared third place with former front runner Maisie Smith.

However, in the fourth week he fell behind the scoreboard with 17 points.

In the fifth week, JJ was able to climb to the leaderboard with 25 points for a quickstep.

It comes after Prince Harry promised words of support to JJ Chalmers.

Harry, who appeared in effect, said: “When I first saw JJ, he was a shell to himself,” Prince Harry began. “But shining through Invictus and becoming yourself again was the beginning of an amazing journey.”

He added: “I am so proud, so sincerely proud that you are here right now. You are not a dancer, your mind is proving that you can do anything amazing. ”

JTV Chalmers announces strict signing on ITV’s Lorraine.

Speaking about the news, he said: “My whole life is defined by facing challenges. Although he becomes a Royal Marine Commando, he recovers from his injuries in Afghanistan and participates in the Invictus Games.

He added: “Now as a TV presenter, I am fortunate to witness some of the best sports in the world. It’s definitely a completely different ball game in terms of the challenges I face, but I’m ready for an adventure trip, at least my mom knows where I am! ”
