A defensive battle is taking place in Western New York. Or at least a crime-less one. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills advanced in the first half of their Sunday night showdown, combining 10 of their 16 properties to trade the ball back and forth without expecting to score more than half the time.
From the start, Pittsburgh’s offense and Buffalo’s turnover were affected. The Steelers were able to score an offensive score, James Washington found the final zone and replaced the drop-affected Dionta Johnson in the lineup. One of Buffalo’s touchdowns actually came while Tarun Johnson and Ben Rothlisberger were running in front of the stellars and extending their lead. Interception return gave Buffalo a 9-7 lead, which went into the break.
Can the Steelers come back and win the road to stay in the top spot in the AFC, or will the bills be snatched from their place? Keep it locked into our live blog as the second half follows.
